 All students receive educational materials to be used as reference tools in the workplace.

Students also receive additional training materials that support lectures and labs.

Trainee Guides include material that familiarizes students with laser operations and functions, and the content of the eLibrary and the Field Service Library (FSL). These are the "tools" that service engineers need to be familiar with for effective use in the workplace. Training is scheduled for eight hours a day and guided extra study is arranged on an as needed basis during non-class hours.
