Cymer is committed to achieving high standards of environmental quality, product safety, and in providing a safe and healthy workplace for our employees, contractors and community. We seek a workplace free of occupational injury and illness. We emphasize individual responsibility for safety and environmentally responsible actions by all employees and at all levels of management.
Cymer complies with all applicable regulatory requirements as a minimum, and implements programs and processes to achieve greater protection, where appropriate. We are committed to conserving natural resources and reducing the environmental burden of waste generation and emissions to the air, water and land.
Through best practices and the latest technologies, Cymer will continue to achieve sustainable products and manufacturing processes. We will strive to be leaders in reducing, reusing and recycling. We seek to design, build and operate manufacturing and office facilities that minimize waste and optimize energy, chemical and material use. Efficient energy use throughout our facilities includes managing utility services and harnessing cost-effective sustainable energy resources.
Cymer will continue to expand our knowledge and understanding of the effects of our operations on environment, health and safety. We will achieve this high level of performance by integrating Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management into our business planning, process development program and overall operating decisions.
Cymer monitors global EHS performance standards and establishes it's own world-class EHS goals and objectives. We regularly conduct audits and assessments and promptly correct conditions, as warranted.
